How do you know that Hubbard had nothing to do with this operation? It’s not “easier” to blame Ron, it is only self-evident to blame the leader of the organization, who is responsible for the operation. You also blame David Miscavige, the current leader of CoS for everything bad that is currently happening in Scientology. #

Anon, Ron was not “the Leader” of the GO, Jane Kember was.
So blaming Ron is simply a wrong target.
Also Ron never claimed to be the leader of Scientology, his post was at that time and still is Founder having resigned as ED Int in 1966.
On the other hand Mssr Miscavige claims to be the unrivaled leader of the Organization.
Most of this actions that OSA is carrying out can be directly linked to him, since he feels he is only one capable of directing them.
Sure Kurt Wiegand is the titular head of OSA but Miscavige is the one calling the shots.
I’m sure if you looked at the Merc traffic coming into OSA right now you’d find Miscavige’s finger prints all over them.
The story was completely different in the GO which was run directly by Kember, who tolerated no outside interference from the SO or even the EDs, who were supposed to be senior to them , in the Orgs in which her AGs were situated.
The GO was completely autonomous unlike OSA which is under SO.

I’m not trying to be an “armchair lawyer”, but Lubow contacting Mr. Rinder’s girlfriend is illegal. It’s unsolicited communication intended to disrupt her peace. I hope it’s documented and someone files charges or TRO. This behavior is unacceptable. ------------------------------------------------
Oooh, I doubt she *really* intended to say that Ron's instructions on 'Noisy Investigations' were illegal...

Not that I doubt your word, but it’s fairly important to post dox (documents) links, or hard data when reporting on C of S out ethics.
The C of S has a long history of reporting on critics and ex’s without any dox. I think it’s important that we don’t fall into the same boat.

Pretty important if you are running a court case in a court room. It is Damn Important to report as I do. Many lives are saved a lot of grief because of it.

I think OSA’s going to keep themselves in check a bit because even though I’ve never seen an OSA checksheet, I’m sure there’s no clay demo for keeping an SP in power. Plus there’s so many of us, like 50 or 100 comment fairly regularly and it’s just getting started. And lots more just read so I wouldn’t worry about it. Anybody gets messed with, just write a big report about it on this site and then do a camera interview and get it posted. Then contact SP times and the AP for info for a future story, even if it’s a small incident.
Handle the hell out of it.
This is getting too big now, they’ll back off. --------------------------------------
Ten little indians. Thank you Marty for clearing out the underbrush.

It is great to hear that. This is what it all is fundamentally about. Kudos should go to the other 17 or 18 or 19 (or whatever it is now) who have spoken out. Factually, they had a lot more to lose than I ever did. -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Real strange, isn't it? Apparently Mary Sue didn't discuss any of her GO activities with Ron, either. What's stranger is that Marty let that post through. Earlier, he trashed a couple of mine, and outright banned Dennis Erlich, but lately he's been pretty permissive about what he allows people to say -- considering.

What a bunch-o-nuts. I like the commenter who posts an airy quote by William Blake, and Marty thanks him for his "scholarship."
Marty wouldn't know scholarship if it bit his dick off. Russell Miller did considerable scholarship to write Bare-Faced Messiah. Stephen A Kent did hard scholarship to put together the spider web of a business scam that Scientology is.
Hubbard was a college dropout -- that's pretty much the opposite of a scholar. He rejected calculus and sciences, including nuclear physics, to pursue hypnotism/Satanism, and he snagged dupes like Marty.
You can tell all the scholarship that went into the one OTVIII guy's speech, his numerological wizardry, about his room number being the same as his house number at home...His birthday being the same as another guy who just completed OTVIII. There's your damn scientific proof right there people. Scientology works. It is written in the stars! These OTVIII people are the anointed ones here to save the planet. Their super powers are real. Everything LRH wrote is true!
In a youtube comment, a poster pointed out the common thread in many of these testimonies that is the flashing SCAM sign. So many people say that on their previous level, they felt they weren't getting "it," it was very difficult....BUT IN THIS LEVEL, wow, "I know," "this is it!" I feel so large. I just want to hug the whole world and eat their brains out, now that mine has been devoured by Scientolomology.
"I spent my first fifteen years in Scientology, not understanding what the f this was about, but now, with this level I know. I know what it all means!"
> You have a nasty habit of telling people that they don't have education, > don't read, don't know scholarship. You assume to much and it's fucked up.
I better correct this typo before she tells me I have no education...
yes, dear, I know...it's "assume too much" , not "to much".

Well, Hubbie was somewhat autodidactic. He sincerely admired Will Durant, I believe, because of that scholar's pop Readers Digest approach to philosophy and history. I for one, am not about to denigrate Durant for his approach, because he did make pedantic concepts accessible and palatable. Hubbie also picked up enough scientific knowledge to write credible sci-fi novels, and enough psychology to colorfully incorporate various theories into Dianetics.
He had two big problems. He was to schizophrenic to distinguish his delusions from observable reality; and he wasn't at all interested in the scientific method, including such aspects as citations and peer review.

I was hoping he was going to be a good guy. It turns out he's an arrogant fucktard and he's surrounded himself with Ronbots and adoring sycophants.
Watch his videos at the SP times. He's so full of himself. His behavior and attitude reminds me of the Mike McClaughry interviews. Marty seems actually proud of some of the things he did while in charge of the arm of the cult that dealt with the handling of critics and people who tried to leave the cult.

He didn't know her. She wasn't married to him but the impostor.

Guess what we never will hear from Mr. Texas is that Jack Vistaril was not L. Ron Hubbard but an impostor because people will then ask him about him being the impostor of the original Marty Rathbun.

The Mike McCluthlu video did cross my mind too! I've tried to be charitable. After all, those were the high points of his young life.

What's interesting is that he could have answered you politely simply by saying these are his observations, and that available dox are anecdotal (like BFG's book). Something like that. But he had to get all huffy and arrogant. It'll be a while before he loses that habit, I suspect.

I agree and I am hopeful.
I'd much rather talk to someone like Geir Isene who is still very indoctrinated but doesn't have that arrogance thing going on.
Marty's letting a lot of critical remarks get posted so there is some hope for him.

You've done a good job of pushing the envelope, Patty. He deleted a couple of my comments early on, but lately he has become more tolerant, or lax.

'Bill Nye Condemns Liars'
'We have nothing more to say of the editor of the Sweetwater Gazette. Aside from the fact that he is a squint-eyed, consumptive liar, with a breath like a buzzard, and a record like a convict, we don't know anything against him. He means well enough, and if he can evade the penitentiary .and the vigilance committee for a few more years, there is a chance for him to end his life in the natural way. If he didn't tell the truth a little more plentifully, however, the Green River people will rise as one man and churn him up till there wont be anything left of him but a pair of suspenders and a wart.'

In 2001 and 2002, one of your juniors repeatedly called my 82 year old father and told him that his son was a criminal. This confused him and caused him much anguish in the months before he died.
OSA also called other members of my family and tried to get them to disconnect from me.
